From Pastor Jim: (with slight modifications from your Web Master!)
We can’t keep a good rumor down.
Tree of Life will welcome you back to indoor worship beginning on 6 June at our standard 10:30 start time.
We will continue to livestream our service to those who can’t join us in person, and the plan is for that to continue until we are told otherwise.
When our council met recently, we chose the 6th to provide time for our contractor to come in and deep clean the church for us, and to give us time to rearrange the interior to keep social distance.
Our primary goal has always been to protect each and every one of you, God’s children, to keep you safe from harm and provide a safe and comfortable place to worship God and commune with fellow believers.
We will follow the guidelines of the CDC and Delaware regarding social distancing and mask wearing.
Council will continue to monitor changes (such as Governor Carney’s recent guidance on wearing masks
(and singing) indoors, recirculation of fresh air, etc., and will certainly provide this guidance to you by the end of May.
In addition to the church being professionally cleaned before June 6th, weekly sanitization will continue to be performed by Jerry Campbell and John Baker.
From Our Burning Bush:
Something new: We will record our indoor services and post them on YouTube for those at home. We thank the Worship and Music Committee (Pastor Johnson, Lay Pastor Guldner, Music Director Duane Dillard, Sylvia Schill, Gail Russell, George Matz and Donna Parks) for the extra work they put in during these past 15 months to provide online services accessible anytime during the pandemic.
